Vol. 14 · Issue 02 For people in the middle of it

The hardest year
of your life shouldn't
also be the loneliest.

We are a small Nairobi firm that handles two kinds of cases — family law and personal injury. Both kinds of cases share something: the people on the other side of our desk did not plan to be here. Our job is to make the next part feel less like falling.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. 01
    Tell us

A 30-minute conversation, no charge, no obligation. Phone, video, or our front porch.

  2. 02
    A written plan

Within a week. Two pages, plain English, with the timeline and the price.

  3. 03
    We do the work

You get weekly updates and a real person — not a portal — when you have questions.

  4. 04
    A clear ending

Resolution, court date, or settlement. A final letter that closes the chapter, in writing.

Section ii · Our team

Six people. One small verandah.

We are a small firm on purpose. Every client works directly with a senior advocate — never an associate you've never met. Our office is a restored colonial bungalow on Ngong Road with a verandah, a jacaranda tree, and, somewhat famously, a golden retriever named Beans.

Our clients tell the story better than we do.

"The insurer offered us four hundred and thirty thousand shillings. Marcus sent them one envelope. Three weeks later we settled for forty-one million."

"Danielle met me at the junction where I was hit. She took photos at the same time of day, two weeks later, to show the sight-line. Who does that?"

Frequently asked

Honest answers to the questions you'd rather not have to ask.

Can I afford a lawyer?+

For injury cases: yes — we work on contingency, which means you pay nothing unless we win. For family law: we offer flat fees for many matters and payment plans for the rest. We'll tell you the price before you sign anything.

Will I have to go to court?+

Probably not. 94% of our family-law clients settle without a trial; 89% of our injury clients settle before filing. When court is the right call, we'll explain why — in writing, before you decide.

How fast can we talk?+

Same week, almost always. If the matter is urgent — a protective order, a hit-and-run, a crisis — we'll find you a slot within 24 hours.

Mnaongea Kiswahili?+

Ndio. Tunashughulikia kesi zote kwa Kiswahili au Kiingereza — chagua kile kinachokufaa. All filings can be prepared in your preferred working language.
